Event“Leveraging new funding opportunities for African-European Radio Astronomy partnerships”

“Leveraging new funding opportunities for African-European Radio Astronomy partnerships - Realising the objectives of the European Parliament’s Written Declaration 45” workshop will present recent policy developments in EU-Africa cooperation in the field of radio astronomy and explore the new opportunities that this cooperation can offer to industry, particularly the European ICT, energy and space sectors. During the workshop, African and EU policy makers will discuss the policy basis for radio astronomy cooperation and industry representatives will highlight their success stories in working with African radio astronomy projects.In addition, the workshop will celebrate the launch of the African-European Radio Astronomy Platform (AERAP).
